Project 366 : Week 17 – a sort of Fail

So my allergies are beyond bad. Like, can barely get out of bed without a raging headache and sneezing mess, bad. So no. I did not take a picture every day last week. Hell, I barely survived last week. So sue me.

But the pictures I did take are pretty good! I’m starting to shoot more and more in RAW, which is giving me some fabulous ways to work with them in post… The only drawback is the amount of room they take up on my card… suffice it to say it’s a LOT.

But here’s my first real attempt at shooting in RAW!

Nothing better than playing in water… seriously, NOTHING.

I wanna be a COWBOY BABY!!

Hanging with your buddy on a beautiful Butter and Egg Days.

I love the bridge… LOVE.

Beautiful pictures! I've been shooting in RAW for a few years . . . the down side is that it's made me LAZY. So many times I just say, "Oh, I can fix that later." I guess with squirrelly kids, though, not having to worry about getting my exposure spot on every time has been super helpful.

Sara – exactly! It's so easy to fix things! And because I'm using old lenses with a new body (basically my FIL's 30 year old Nikkor lenses) I have to meter myself. So at least RAW means that I don't have to completely stress about the exposure! But it sure does take up a TON of room on the chip. Going to have to move to a bigger one.

Hello there! This post couldn’t be written any better! Looking through this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He constantly kept preaching about this. I’ll send this article to him. Pretty sure he’s going to have a very good read. Thanks for sharing!
