Tis the season!
Wait a minute. WTF? Is it the holidays ALREADY????
Nope. Not yet. But in our house, the advent of fall brings with it birthday cards, party invitations, (this year) birth announcements and yes, holiday cards. Last year, when Drew turned two, I reached out to a company I met at Blogher for the invitations to our small family BBQ, Paper Culture.
Do you know about Paper Culture? If not, you totally should. Paper Culture is an eco-friendly stationary company that since 2009 has made beautiful invitations, announcements, holiday cards and even bamboo art. They constantly get featured in magazines like Redbook and People Magazine, not to mention by industry giants like Martha Stewart. Sounds pretty legit, right? But it’s not just the beautiful designs and quality products that they use, it’s the fact that they pledge that no new trees will be cut down to produce their products… and beyond that, they actually plant a tree when you place an order. The strive to create the smallest carbon footprint they can and what they can’t eliminate, they offset as a CarbonFree® partner of Carbonfund.org
This is music to my little green ears…
It’s true. I LOVE their products. The invitations that I received last year were beautiful, with deep, rich colors on fabulously thick card stock, a good thing since I’m a total snob when it comes to my stationary. They also had great, fresh modern designs to choose from, perfect for my little boy’s birthday. Hell, I even used their design to make the decor for his party… right down to the cake and the bunting.
So I took it a little overboard. So sue me.This year, if we do the same thing, I’ll be checking them out again, but more likely I’ll be using them for some deliciously adorable birth announcements for Baby Girl F or if she comes in time, some fabulous holiday cards .
Something like this perhaps??
Damn… I better make sure to get some really good pictures of my new family of four to match the awesome holiday cards I want to send out…
And because I love you guys SO much, Paper Culture has given ME $50 to give YOU!

Paper Culture provided me with a voucher for product last year but all opinions of their awesomeness are my own.
