OK yeah. I have to admit. I ADORE this time of year. I’m a big sucker for holiday music, trimming the Christmas Tree soon after Thanksgiving, and cooking up a STORM. I LOVE the holiday magic.
While I feel like I’m pretty blessed in general, this year has been especially good. I’m going to have another kid, my parents were able to come up last week and my Mother in Law made us all Thanksgiving dinner so I didn’t have to cook anything. Although come to think of it, that may actually have put me into labor. Damn.
But no new baby aside, it’s been an amazing first week of the holiday season.

It’s amazing how I haven’t gone into sugar shock or gained 50 pounds, because seriously? I’ve eaten a good deal of what I’ve made.
Ya know how I’ve made most of it? With my BEEEEYYYYYUTIFUL Kitchen Aid Mixer. I got it a million and one years ago, before I was married and before I really even knew how to cook. But it makes baking and all that stuff up there ^^^ a snap. (And btw, I will be providing the recipes for those scrumptious little morsels. Just hang tight.)
