9 months old. 3 months away from a year.
Huh?
After weeks and months of worrying about weight and food and small-ness and omg JUST EAT ALREADY, we are ON THE MAP with regards to weight and height. 20th percentile for weight (what’s up chubs?) and 8th for height. Hrm… I guess as her pediatrician says, her small size will certainly keep the dating pool WIDE open when she’s older.
Because yes, this kid is going to be petite. Like, REALLY petite.
But she’s SO happy. But so very VERY different than her brother was.
She is shy. Like, loves her friends and her circle and people that she knows, but if you are new? And look remotely frightening (like the poor dark haired European waiter at lunch today)? Than anytime you come within 6 feet of her she is going to scream.bloody.murder. Like, fingernails being ripped out bloody.murder.
It’s a little intense.
But she’s a cutie and we love her, shyness and all. She loves to bury her head in my chest when she’s tired and play peekaboo with her brother and Daddy. She loves to commando crawl all over the house (yup, THAT’S totally happening) and loves to eat, by herself thank you, don’ttrytofeedmedevilwoman. Avocado, grilled cheese, steak, potatoes, fish… you name, she shovels it in.
And she’s STILL only 16 pounds. Insanity. I certainly wish I had that metabolism.
She’s talking. Dada, Mama, Banana… (Seriously, it’s all about the food and the people that feed her.)
But she’s our love. Our Peanut. And she’s still madly in love with her Big Brother, which makes.my.day.
This post was sponsored by gDiapers. They provided the clothes for my darling little girl to wear and HOW CUTE ARE THEY??? Their new fall line of gStyle is out and I LOVE it. Their gOhm dress and fig g’s are ADORABLE. But let’s be honest, the kid could wear a paper bag and look great.
