In the middle of the madness of the remodel, I actually got a chance to take some pictures.
Sigh.
I’ve missed this.
I’ve also missed normalcy, because while we live like gypsies, this kid is CHANGING. FAST.
The Peanut/Hurricane is 14 months old now. Walking, talking and just generally hurricane-y. Like, category FIVE people. She loves to trash things, throw food, unpack boxes and never replace a single item. She is a HOT mess.
She is also a magnet for booboos. Remember the big fall? Yeah, that bruise was followed up by about 4 more to her face, as she tends to use her head as another hand… so when she is trips, her face is the thing that she sticks out first to break that fall.
OMFG – I may not survive this.
She’s developing quite the attitude these days, something that I’m sure I will write more about in the future as she hones her stinkface… have you SEEN this??
I’m not quite sure what to do with her, because while everything thinks the stinkface and the attitude are so adorable, I see bad things coming down the pipeline if I don’t rein it in now. Thoughts on that, moms of girls???
Lordy.
But she’s wonderful, and adorable, and charming and tough and insane and a bruiser… she bosses around her brother, walks/runs everywhere and is finally starting to chunk up. Her feet are still alarmingly small, which is probably why she falls all the time, but her thighs are finally deliciously chubby.
Nom Nom.
