Dude.
Still sore.
Because in case you missed it, an Orangetheory Fitness opened up a few towns over and I decided to check it out. Because please, I work out. I’m in decent shape. I can totally handle whatever you throw at me.

So I’d never heard of Orangetheory Fitness before, which apparently means I’ve been living in a box, because they are currently in ten countries and have around 500 in the US. So yeah, I should have known what I was getting into, but sadly, no.
And the experience that I got into was AH-Mazing.

So if you didn’t get all that (it’s kind of long, I know) the idea behind Orangetheory Fitness is that you can work out at your own personal level. They hook you up to that heart monitor and the only person you are competing against is YOURSELF! You need to keep yourself in Base/Push/All-Out zones and it is all dependent upon your fitness level. I ran on treadmills next to people who were speed walking, jogging and running ALL out, but all at their own pace and all within their own heart rate zones.
It was RAD.
And when you push yourself like that, it’s HARD.
But in a good way!
The best part is that if you’re in Sonoma County like I am, they just opened that Orangetheory Fitness a month ago at Coddington Mall in Santa Rosa. One month in and already over 500 members. Which kind of says something about the workout, right?
The trainers were amazing, the facility was gorgeous and the workout was extreme. If you’re looking for a great workout here in Sonoma, check out the new Orangetheory Fitness at Coddington Mall.
Oh and did I mention your first session is free? Check it out!
